When an old informant comes to Alton for help in fighting bogus drug dealing charges, the detective finds his informant has information regarding a high-profile serial killer operating on the outskirts of the city, near the mining district. At the same time, a young woman comes to Alton in hopes he will help find her missing Aunt, a working woman in the same area as the killer. Soon however these two cases will collide with one another, and Alton will find himself caught in the crosshairs of corrupt political officials, a dangerous killer, and a conspiracy that could tear apart the city of New Vegas entirely. Haunted by a past he’s spent his whole life working to make up for, Alton must push himself to his limits to help protect his client’s life, even if it means confronting a mysterious figure from that very same past.

Rollins escorts Alton from the crime scene and orders him to stay away from the investigation. As Alton exits the Wildlife Refuge, he spots a suspicious van parked on the street. Alton tries to approach, but it speeds away causing Alton and Bessimer to pursue. A high speed chase ensues through the city ultimately ending in a seedy part of town known as the Red Light District.
